Sustainability strategy

The company’s sustainability efforts target three different focus areas. By systematising and standardising the way we work, the methods we use and the materials we select, we can ensure we focus on the issues that make a difference. This process is inspired by the guidelines and reporting principles of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

The focus areas for the company’s sustainability work are: Sustainable properties, Responsible enterprise and Responsibility as an employer. Through undertakings in each of these focus areas, the objective is to make a difference and contribute to a sustainable society while also adding value for the company and its stakeholders.

Sustainable properties

Oscar Properties aims to build residential units and commercial properties that are not only timeless and well-designed but also maintain high quality, have a low environmental impact and encourage a sustainable lifestyle. The choice of timeless materials and high-quality design solutions that remain attractive over time contributes to sustainable urban development and sustainable homes. Oscar Properties is inspired by architecture and design and always bases its construction on the individual history of the building or the location.

Responsible enterprise

Oscar Properties works proactively to create a culture where ethical business practices and anti-corruption are high on the agenda both internally and externally. As property developers, we are involved in creating the societies of the future and want to contribute to developing and building sustainable urban environments.

Responsibility as an employer

Oscar Properties considers its employees to be the company’s greatest resource and important ambassadors. Oscar Properties has a strong brand and aims to be an attractive and responsible employer. Oscar Properties offers favourable terms of employment and opportunities for development and stimulating work, where innovative thinking is encouraged and the focus is on high quality. We also work proactively to create a secure and sustainable work environment for the employees. This is a prerequisite for creating a high degree of job satisfaction, contented employees and low sickness absence.
